A South-Korean-born dashing artist, BamBam is currently a popular Thai singer, musician, singer, and rap producer. In 2003, he released his first album, titled “BamBam.” Along with JB, Jackson, Yu-Gyu, Mark, and Young- Jin, he has release two additional studio albums, threeEPs, nine singles, and twelve original songs.
Known as a master of ceremonies (MC) rapper, BamBam performs with a band called Thao Tin. The group is made up of members who all have bambam backgrounds. Thao Tin is also an official member of the Korean pop group GFriend. On this group’s song “My Way,” a Thao Tin quote is included that translates into, “I walk the road/I am a master of ceremonies/I am the king of Thailand/I am the one you’ve been looking for.”

According to some reports, BamBam actually was born in Thailand, but according to others he was adopted as a baby by American servicemen during the Vietnam War. Some sources say he was born on May 2, 1997 in America, while some say he was born in Thailand. An interesting bit of trivia about the rapper is that in addition to being a rap artist, he is also an actor and singer who has performed in films such as “Dumb and Dumber,” “Shrek,” and” Planes Mobile.” These days, he is also starring in the Thai soap opera, “The Private Life of Tom Sherwood.”

According to an article on the BamBam website, “Tom” is originally from Southern California. There is no indication of whether or not he has ever actually lived in Thailand, although he is registered at an address there. According to the BamBam factsheet, the rapper got his first guitar at age 14 in a shop owned by a friend. A story circulating online claims that he then started learning the guitar solo piece, which he performed at one of his friend’s parties, but the details are scarce. It is possible that he learned to play the guitar from an instruction manual.
The future of BamBam, Inc. remains very uncertain. In November of 2017, it was reported that the company was considering selling its remaining stock of shares in the struggling Thai MP3 music group. Subsequently, in January 2018, it was announced that the business would be going into a private placement offering, where it would be sold off to the highest bidder. At present, the company is focused on its core products, namely, the “Aqua Beach Bass” song album, featuring artists like Camila Caboclo and J Balinzang. Sales for the period of January to May, inclusive of taxes and shipping charges, were reported at $1.2 million.
