Betty Zhou is a Chinese actress, singer, screenwriter and host. She currently hosts her own program on CCTV China. Born in 1978, she is originally from Hong Kong. As an actress, Betty Zhou has appeared in more than thirty films. The films that she appeared in are: Crazy Heart, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Flower in the Garden, etc.

Betty Zhou was also a popular TV personality in the late sixties and seventies, hosting her own program called “Betty Zhou Live.” It featured music videos, interviews with famous Chinese and Hollywood personalities, among others. Recently, Betty Zhou has been busy promoting her first novel. She has written and produced several successful plays in Hollywood, such as “The Box Office,” and “Man on the Moon.” She has also written several non-fiction books, most notably “Beirut: A Port of Call,” a travel guide to the region of China that includes its cities, people, culture, and history.
