The month of Ramadan is considered to be one of the fasting months of the Islamic calendar. During this month, Muslims all over the world fast from dawn till Sunday. This symbolizes the fact that they have come from Islamic countries and they should abide by Islamic law. Flags and banners with the logo of Eid Al Adha can also be seen in most local markets. The government also encourages its citizens to fly the flag on Eid Al Adha.
