Eid Al Adha 2021 in Qatar is a very popular and anticipated festival. It is one of the biggest annual cultural events, with millions of tourists visiting Doha, Qatar throughout the month of Ramadan. This festive event is held on the day of Ramadan and commemorates the religious Eid Al Adha. The word” Eid “In Arabic means “Eid” or” Ramadan”. The month of Ramadan falls on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and during this time Muslims all over the world fast from dawn to sunset.
Many non-Muslim tourists and visitors have mixed feelings about the event, as it tends to get a little messy. On Eid Al Adha, which takes place in many locations around Doha, there are loud fireworks and loud music. However, the tourists aren’t required to be fasting and they’re allowed to enjoy the festivities. The only major indoor venue that’s closed on Eid Al Adha is the Dubai Mall, but you can still see the festival everywhere else.
Eid Al Adha celebrations in Qatar start the day before the start of Ramadhan, the main feast of Islam. This normally happens around a week or two before the month of Ramadan and is celebrated by millions of Muslims around the world. The Fatima Mosque in Doha is where Eid Al Adha takes place. There’s plenty of entertainment, food and dancing to enjoy. There’s also a parade, which starts at sundown and goes down the Doha waterfront to mark the end of the festival.
Once night falls, the celebrations slow down a bit and guests can relax. Eid celebrations in Qatar are much quieter, but there’s still plenty to do. There are outdoor concerts, family activities, sporting events and theatre plays. Tourists can visit all the major landmarks in Doha during the day, then enjoy dinner and music at the Qanta Multi-purpose Stadium before heading back to their hotel for a night filled with fireworks and Eid activities.
