The month of Ramadan falls on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and during this time Muslims all over the world fast from dawn to sunset.
Many non-Muslim tourists and visitors have mixed feelings about the event, as it tends to get a little messy. However, the tourists aren’t required to be fasting and they’re allowed to enjoy the festivities. The only major indoor venue that’s closed on Eid Al Adha is the Dubai Mall, but you can still see the festival everywhere else.

There’s plenty of entertainment, food and dancing to enjoy. There’s also a parade, which starts at sundown and goes down the Doha waterfront to mark the end of the festival.
