The day set up to mark the end of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar, Eid Al Adha 2023 in Russia took place on the last Friday of Ramadan. Its celebrated with grandeur and pomp. The atmosphere is jovial and the atmosphere is one of joy.
Eid Al Adha in Russia is a very crucial day. It is the final day for fasting. Muslims all over the country fast from dawn to sunset on this day. Thousands of people start off their fasting from dawn till mid-morning and even after that, as they continue with their fast, rush to buy Eid clothing and head to the mosque to give thanks to Allah for doing his work by sending his son Islam with the mankind so.
The celebrations on this day are the biggest in all Eid traditions. Citizens and guests from all parts of Russia celebrate Eid Al Adha in different ways. Many of them opt to do it indoors while some of them head to the desert to enjoy the heat of summer and the comfort of cool camel rides. Others celebrate Eid Al Adha outdoors and go to the beach to sunbathe under the blazing sun.
Every year Russian authorities organize various events and activities to celebrate Eid Al Adha in the best possible way. Many famous Russian singers along with her family and friends celebrate Eid Al Adha in Red Russia. A huge fire is set up on the beach and people gather to watch it. The music band starts playing the traditional dance of Eid and then everyone joins in to clap and to sing. Some of them even play traditional Russian songs.
Eid Al Adha party is another feature of the party. The entire city is decorated for the party and the streets are lined with lights, festooned with lights and colorful ribbons. All hotels and restaurants prepare special dishes for the celebration of Eid Al Adha, in order to please their guests. It is also a time when people start preparing for the Eid party with their children following the same routine. Parents always look forward to this time as it can provide children with lots of fun.

In order to keep the spirits high and the fire burning strong on this celebration people light Eid candles and light, beautiful candle lanterns. The women in the home even decorate the dolls and use them during the party as women folk art is considered important on this day. The city is busy with many hotels and restaurants preparing delicious dishes for this party and the residents go around doing door to door advertising. The local businessmen make sure that there is no traffic on the roads on the eve of the party so that business goes on well.
