The Vice-Chancellors of 19 Public General and Science and Technology Universities of the country have decided to conduct the admission test for the 2019-2021 academic year in this cluster system. Syllabus & Mark Distribution
After that, the cluster test will be conducted in the method of choosing the correct answer i.e. multiple-choice questions. And in this case, the total number in each subject will be 100. To apply in the batch system, each student has to be above C GPA 3:50 in each of these two SSC and HSC exams. Students who have a GPA below 3:50 in any one of the exams will not be able to participate in the university admission test. Therefore, every student has to have a CGPA score of more than 3:50.
Then the university can participate in the admission test. In this case, the minimum CGPA for SSC and HSC exams for science students is 8:00. CGPA for business education students should be 7.50 and humanities. The CGPA for the department must be 8:00. This means that every student wishing to take the admission test must have this minimum CGPA score. However, in most universities, only those who were students in the 2019-20 academic year can take the exam. However, some universities will admit students for the 2018-19 academic year. But not all universities will take them, said Professor Rahman.
For example, Mr Wahiduzzaman said that Jagannath University will only give admission to those who have passed HSC in the 2019-20 academic year. In other words, those who have passed HSC in 2019 will not be given a chance. After that, the committee for admission test in batch system informed that in order to be admitted to the university of choice, the first one has to participate in the batch examination. Mark Distribution & Time of GST Admission Test 2021-22
All the units of the GST Admission Test will be held out of 100 marks. The test of all the units will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The distribution of all the units is given below:
Humanities: English, Bengali and ICT will be tested. 35 marks in English, 40 marks in Bengali and 25 marks in ICT. This is a total of 100 marks.
Business Branch: Business Branch or B Unit A will have examinations in Accounting, Management, English-Bangla and ICT. 25 in Accounting, 25 in Management, 12 in English, 13 in Bengali, and 25 in ICT. Total 100 marks.
Science Branch: Physics, Chemistry, Bengali, English, Mathematics and ICT will be tested in these subjects.
20 marks in Physics, 20 marks in Chemistry, 10 marks in Bengali, 10 marks in English, and 40 marks in ICT.
ICT, maths, or biology will be tested in any two subjects.
