Happy Eid! The month of October is Eid ul-Fitr, the first Islamic holiday after the month of Ramadan. This special day is celebrated with all pomp and pageantry. During the day Muslims all over the world celebrate and participate in a variety of activities. There is a lot of shopping and decorating of properties. But one cannot forget the most important function of all; feasting!
During this special day, family members, relatives, friends, neighbors, and colleagues gather to break their fast (called Fasting) for a number of days. This is the best time to get together with loved ones. It is also a time to talk about the family’s future, share good news and build up hopes.
