World Environment Day Wishes, Quotes, Images, SMS, Greetings, Messages

World Environment Day was founded in 1970 by Dr. Mahoney of the World Wildlife Fund. He wanted people to focus on the need to conserve the world’s natural resources. Dr. Mahoney realized that many people in the developing world were not able to attend school regularly, so he made education about nature a part of World Environment Day celebrations. Since then, this day has grown to celebrate not only World Environment Day but also the importance of preserving the earth for our future generations.

World Environment Day has been celebrated every year since then with special activities and events all over the world to raise awareness about the problems of global warming and the damage that it is causing to our natural environment. Every year, we celebrate World Environment Day with different events and activities focusing on these two issues. In fact, many cities around the world have designated a week each year as World Environment Day to educate the general public about the importance of sustainable consumption and protecting the world’s natural resources. This is done in order to draw more attention to the critical issues of global warming and the necessity for people to take more responsibility for their actions affecting the environment.

One of the most critical issues of World Environment Day is the issue of environment conservation and restoration. Many people do not realize that there are several natural restoration programs that exist right now to help salvage some of the natural systems and ecosystems that exist today. For example, some regions have developed large-scale programmes to rehabilitate ecosystems and restore biodiversity. These programmes often aim at providing a greener and more resilient environment for current and future generations.

Another important issue of World Environment Day is the issue of global warming and climate change. While some scientists believe there is no correlation between climate change and environmental degradation, the reality is that the rising temperatures and the changes in precipitation patterns are having profound effects on ecosystems all over the world. This has become one of the top issues of discussion worldwide, with concerns from vulnerable low-lying tropical islands to the arid wastes of Australia. Scientists have acknowledged that while the impact of human activity on climate is still debated, a rise in global temperatures over the course of the last century is undeniable.

While it may seem impossible to create a “greener” earth without changing human behaviour towards nature, there are some areas of the world that have made great advances in the way they deal with these issues. For example, some parts of the US have put in place a series of programmes to provide awareness and promote restoration. In addition, there are several nature conservation and restoration projects currently underway in different parts of the world, with the support of governments, non-profit organizations and individuals. In the coming years, the aim of this World Environment Day will be to raise awareness and promote effective restoration and protection of ecosystems and their natural environments.

One of the biggest problems faced by the planet is habitat loss, with more than a billion people globally facing the threat of extinction due to encroachment of land and natural habitats. A major cause for this phenomenon has been the growth of industrialization and development in the developing world, resulting in the clearance of swamps and forests as well as other wetlands. While this has benefited local communities by providing them with better livelihoods, it has also resulted in massive deforestation and the rapid loss of wetlands and forests, thereby adversely affecting the ecosystems and biodiversity of the world. There are several programs that have been developed by governments, non-profit organizations and international organisations in an attempt to end this type of wildlife crime, which is one of the most serious threats to the health and future of the world’s environment.
