After her contract with TVB expired, she returned home to mainland China and began her acting career with the same talent agency as before. She gained international fame when she appeared in the movie Dumb and Dumber, which was later made into a hit film by Disney. Now, She is most famous for the roles she has played in the TV series Kung Fu Panda as well as the animated Kung Fu Panda movie.

He Meitian’s first major break came in August of 1975 when he appeared in the television movie Legend of Chun Li, which was produced by Chinese star actor Yang Yifei. He had previously appeared in various movies in the 1970s including The Romance ofsticks. He went on to star in the equally popular Kung Fu Panda as well as the animated feature Flowers in the Daytime. In the latter, he plays the role of Dr. X, the chief scientist of the Panda’s species. He has also appeared in several popular Chinese dramas such as the comedy Romance ofsticks and the action-adventure Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He has since gone on to play important roles in films such as Crazy Heart, House of Flying Daggers, the remake of Tomb Raider, and the live action adaptation of The Jade Palace, among many others.
