Hugo Lloris was born in Cameroon. He is described as a bull by birth. His father, Hugo Lloris was an engineer while his mother, bacteriologist, was a practicing psychotherapist. Hugo Lloris excelled in Math was his passion. In high school, he won the Science Fair but did not pursue this further because of his interest in architecture.
After high school, Hugo Lloris attended college for a year, earning a degree in Mathematics and a brief stint as an intern. In 2021, he started his own company, Hugo Lloris and Associates, which is now based in Austin, Texas. He has set a goal to have two to three restaurants open by the end of the year, with the first start being at Central Market in Austin, Texas. The company’s main focus will be serving traditional Cajun cuisine.
The Hugo Lloris Association for Research and Development has set a first goal of having the company start to sell 100% organic products by the end of 2021. As of this writing, Hugo Lloris has had three restaurants open, which have all gained rave reviews from local, national, and international media sources. Most media sources have Hugo LlorisNet, a web site that offers useful information on all aspects of Hugo Lloris, as well as other Cajun chefs that can serve as role models for young individuals.
By scoring a second goal, Hugo Lloris has surpassed Chef Louis Cajun and has become only the third person ever to score two goals in a single day. This achievement ranks him ahead of former classmates Hector Pulgar and Guyana Jackson. The accomplishment also ranks Hugo Lloris above the legends Emeril Lagasse and Mose Harrison, who have both accomplished feats in their own right.

As it stands today, Hugo Lloris holds over five hundred bottles of wine, which is an industry record. He has achieved this feat in both February and March, with the first draw coming in February of this past year. During his opening goal, Hugo Lloris made history by securing a million dollar bond. Though he passed away in July of this past year, the bond was raised to two million dollars, making Hugo Lloris the first out of Cajun culinary royalty to be granted such a large sum. As of today, he holds over four hundred restaurant accounts, with half of them located in New Orleans. Of course, no matter how many are opened or still in operation Hugo Lloris is still one of the most successful Cajun chefs to have graced the town of Covington.
Though Hugo Lloris is currently deceased, his legacy will live on long after his untimely passing. This is why it should not be too difficult for anyone to score an invitation to a Cajun Thanksgiving or Louisiana Folk Festival celebration. If it were any other chef with as many positive credentials as Hugo Lloris, perhaps he would have been considered for the job of “The Emperor of Covington” instead.
