On September 9th, Li Landi made her Chinese film debut in the film remake of the popular Japanese manga “Sensei”. In the film she plays Lin Feng, a powerful martial arts teacher, who travels to Beijing during the Boxer Rebellion to seek peace. On the day of her film debut, Li Landi became the first out of many Chinese actresses to perform in front of a live audience in Beijing. Her performance earned her the first Best Actress award at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Film Festival.
