Other popular roles that Liu Tao has provided include the strong warrior princess in Legend of MI Yin, the daughter in Zhenya, the evil Queen in Demetri and the Chinese bride in Jackie Chan’s La femme Nikita. Recently, Liu Tao became famous when she was seen on the Chinese television series Oriental Thought. She portrayed the character Ying Xia, who appeared in the first episode of the show and impressed many viewers with her acting skills. This role earned Liu Tao the recognition of many critics and insiders. One of these people is Huang Xiaoming, the director of the Chinese film reviewing service CFT.

To date, Liu Tao is busy working on several projects. Among these is the action-adventure film Jade On (her second Chinese film starring Wu Yijun), the Hong Kong film mystery, the western remake of Tomb Raider, the TV sitcom reboot of Kung Fu Panda and the nanchang kung fu movie The Man from Tai Chi. All the movies are part of the year’s triumvirate of box office successes that have characterized Chinese box office over the past few months. This is made even more remarkable by the fact that the films were all produced outside of Hollywood. This is especially impressive considering how successful the trio of Iron Man, Spider-Man and Harry Potter have been in recent years. In fact, with Iron Man 3 now out, Iron Man fans could be looking ahead to their own Chinese superhero movie.

It is also interesting to note that Liu Tao is currently the oldest sister of two of the main characters in the Legend of MI Yin. While the other sister has reached the age of 47, xia is still young enough to follow in her mother’s footsteps and enter menopause. This can be seen as a reflection of the changing times in China as it pertains to family structure, which is rapidly changing.

Liu Tao’s success has resulted in the rise of many Chinese actresses and directors making their way into the Hollywood spotlight. In the past, only foreigners or Japanese movie stars have been able to break through to the mainstream, but that is no longer the case. With Internet technology taking over every aspect of our lives, the only barriers to entry for Chinese actresses and directors are the size of their production companies’ studios and box offices. With such a large pool of talent to draw from, any Chinese movie actress can be a major success in the United States and Canada.
