Novak Djokovic Net Worth, Measurements, Birthday, Height, weight, Age, Family Facts & Life Story

Novak Djokovic, a Serb from Serbo-Albania, is a professional tennis player playing for KLP Sports Club in Romania. He is ranked as the current world No.1. Djokovic was named to the U.S. National Tennis Team at the first time of his career, making him one of the few players ever to be so selected. He qualified for the 1994 Olympics in Los Angeles, making him the first Olympic tennis players from Europe. Novak Djokovic later played two seasons for TTA, after which he joined KLP where he currently plays.
Novak Djokovic was born in Sibenik, Pohorje, Romania in 1985. He moved to Belgrade to play for Sportodrom in the Croatian league in the late nineties, but later joined Djokovic Enterprises, a company involved in sports equipment production, in 1996. He has held various assistant coaching roles with Djokovic and has been part of the management team since its establishment.
Djokovic started playing tennis at a relatively young age of eight when he was introduced to the world of competitive sport by his father, who was a well-known tennis player in his community. Novak Djokovic then began playing tennis at the local level in Prahova I Mijas, where he reached the semi final stage of the Youth Olympic tournament as a teenager. From there, he moved on to win the first ever grand slam titles at the U.S. National University tennis training camp in Connecticut in both the singles and the mixed competitions. Novak Djokovic then became part of the Italian team that won the bronze at the 2023 Olympics in Sydney.
When Djokovic won the Australian open, which was not regarded as a grand slam in the traditional sense, it was one of the most dominant tournaments that a novak had tasted in his career. After winning the national open, Djokovic then won the US open as well, another of the more dominant tournaments that he has contested. At the 2023 Australian open, which was also won by Djokovic, it was again a remarkable performance for the man. This set up his meteoric rise to becoming one of the favorites to win the U.S. Open or the Australian open, or even the world tennis trophy.

One reason why Djokovic’s achievements this year stand out is that he has maintained the same fitness level that he has always maintained, while also adding a new element of grit and determination to his game that he has not been able to acquire in previous years. He knows that he still needs to work on his game if he wants to achieve a Grand Slam title, but is also aware that the longer he waits to win them the worse his chances will be. He has beaten top players such as Serena Williams, Kim Clijsters and Martina Navratilova and is set to face unseeded Roger Federer in the semis. Novak Djokovic’s positive attitude, intelligence and desire to succeed in this year’s Australian open as well as the US open, where he is highly favored to win the trophy and defeat Federer is a testament to the fact that he is not finished improving.
For the man who only started playing competitive tennis when he was 18 years old, beating top players at his age bracket and winning a Wimbledon title is a bit of an accomplishment. Novak Djokovic understands that it is going to take something more than his usual games to defeat Federer in the Swiss super tournament and become the first man to defeat the Swiss legend in four consecutive matches. However, given his experience of beating top players, there is no reason why he can’t accomplish this. Only time will tell.
