Rajamouli, Ravi Teja and many more. Pranitha Subhash has been known for her beautiful and exquisite face and body. She has been playing various strong characters such as a loving wife in the romantic epic mating fantasy film Mankatha, a courageous and committed sister in the story of Arundhati. She also starred in the comedy film Naveen Kaushik which went ahead to become one of the best comedy films ever made in India. Pranitha Subashari is born as Pranitha Bhimsen in Hubli, Karnatakere district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Pranitha was a name that her father had given while drawing a map of the house for her. Pranitha was supposed to be the star of the Zodiac sign Virgo and she was therefore named after this star sign. Pranitha was born to Subashiki, an agriculturalist from a village called Konark in Hubli, Karnatakere district of Andhra Pradesh, India. This is where Pranitha was conceived by her parents along with her younger brother Ashok, who was also an infant at that time.
Pranitha was trained at Alipore Girls’ School as a child and she soon became a member of the Miss Tourism and Culture Association in Hubli while she was studying at Alipore Agricultural College. After getting graduated in the Miss Education Society of South India, Pranitha moved to Bangalore to pursue her career in acting. She took up the role of the protagonist in the award winning movie, Tenko Dere, which was later made into a famous Hindi film of the same name starring Anushka Shetty. Following the success of Tenko Dere, Pranitha began her illustrious career in Bollywood, playing different characters in different films and winning accolades in the process.
Pranitha is described as a dark brown or ash brown-skinned woman with light hair and brown eyes. She has brown skin with dark brown eyes. Her height is 165 cm and she is said to be slim. After her marriage to Ashok in 1997, Pranitha started having health problems and spent a lot of time in the hospital. After a lot of pain, the couple decided to get divorced. After this, Pranitha returned to her home town of Hubli and began working at the KVDC Media Group with her friend Gopi.
Pranitha’s first attempt at doing an Indian movie was in the late 90’s when she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in the movie, Om Shanti Om. She was again nominated for the same award for the same film in the following year. After the success of Om Shanti Om, Pranitha again decided to try her hand at doing a movie in India but this time she chose to act in a British film called Kill Bill. This film was directed by Tom Ford and was released in 1998. The film was a box office hit all over the world and it was the second highest grossing film of all time till date.
After the successful completion of Kill Bill, Pranitha moved onto another big budget film called Shiva. She then completed her first Hindi film ‘Nana’ that year and then went on to do the same in 2021 with her second Hindi movie ‘Manali’ starring Aishwarya Rai. Both these films did well and paved way for more interesting roles in the Telugu film industry. The success of Pranitha and Aishwarya Rai has also helped to rejuvenate the fortunes of the Telugu film industry and new faces like Kritika and Manali have been formed after their popular success.
