Prisia Nasution Net Worth, Measurements, Birthday, Height, weight, Age, Family Facts & Life Story

Prisia Nasution is a famous Indonesian actor and singer, known for her tough-girl persona. She has appeared in a number of films and has become a popular face amongst Indonesian citizens. She is also a martial arts expert and thus is well-known as a coach of Baguazhang, an idealistic martial art that utilises kicks, punching and sticks to create dynamic moves. The art has been used by the Indonesian military for hundreds of years as a way to train its members.
Prisia Nasution first became famous in the late eighties when she was a member of the all-out group that fought against Jakarta during the notorious anti Communism demonstrations. This group, named the “Red Power” as it was red and green in colour, became a symbol of resistance to the Indonesian communist government. As such, the government was forced to abandon the cities they were holding, and thousands of people were killed or displaced. It is rumoured that Prisia Nasution helped organise this group of young people. Two of her former friends are now leading a rebellious movement against the current government in Jakarta, who are demanding greater freedoms and are organising their own youth wing, the Youth for a sovereign Indonesia (Papua New Guinea).
Prisia Nasution’s first notable film role was in the 1986 action movie called Damocles where she plays an Indonesian princess who falls out with her friend played by Kurt Russell. They later become enemies and are forced to join forces with a Japanese spy agent known as Kakechi in order to defeat an impending invasion of Japan by China. The film ends with the pair surviving and becoming friends. Over the next few years, Prisia would receive a number of awards including an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, an Honorary Academy Award and Golden Globe Awards for her performance.
In the film version of the story, Prisia became associated with the Jakarta Governor, Rufus P. Elbee. It is rumoured that the two developed an uneasy friendship because Elbee did not believe that he had the intelligence to be the best leading actress in the country at that time. The two were not seen together in public, however some footage was taken of them at a secret function where Elbee gave her regards to Prisia. The two never confirmed whether they ever met personally although Prisia would often dress up in a revealing outfit to attend important events in Indonesian Government. The most that can be confirmed is that Prisia would receive gifts from Elbee including a watch.

At the age of 37 years old, Prisia Nasution moved back to her native Indonesia after living in Japan for five decades. A few years later she went back to her homeland to perform her duty as an Indonesian citizen. However, it was not until one day that she realised that she was legally bankrupt and was automatically ineligible to apply for citizenship. On that same day, Rufus P. Elbee, the former governor of Jakarta took a trip to Prisia’s hometown in Bali in order to offer her his congratulations for her excellent performance in the film “Haitian Nights”. However, Prisia did not receive any reply from Elbee. Two months later Elbee went missing when he was away on a business trip.
On the fourth January 2023, Prisia returned to Java to pay her respects to her late father who had been a strong supporter of her decision to live and work in Java. When interviewed by Time Out Jakarta Prisia Nasution disclosed that she felt her absence from the film industry was because of a family matter but refused to elaborate on what the matter was. Time Out Jakarta suggested that it was possible that Prisia had been due to receive a death sentence in Indonesia but she refused to confirm or deny this claim.
