Prisia Wulansari Nasution, better known to her fans as Prisia Nasution, is Indonesian actresses, martial arts expert and singer of mixed Balinese and Javanese descent. She has gone on to fame and recognition in the world of film and music and has achieved international fame for her roles in films such as “Celade” and “Singles”. In her early years, Prisia was a talented child who enjoyed singing, drawing and painting. When she was still young, she was scouted by talent scouts who took her to the small theater in her village, where she made her first performance in a play as a chorus girl. Later on, she went to join the crew of a traveling theater group, where she honed her skills and began honing her acting skills in various shows and films. Her love of music and art blossomed into a successful singing career in the early 80s, which led her to study classical dancing and singing in the Japanese classical form.
She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia on 1 June 1984. She is one of five siblings, all of whom have become successful in their own right. Her full name is Prisia Wiransari Wijaya. While growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia, Prisia would watch her mother performing dance routines in the streets and would mimic her.

Prisia has also had extensive training in the martial arts. She trained in Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Goju-Ryu and many forms of Kung Fu. Prisia has also trained with the finest martial artists of Singapore, Malaysia and mainland Australia. She currently holds a black belt with the rank of Senior Grand Master. Prisia has had an eclectic career throughout her career, most notably as an actress in animated films in the early 1990s and as a kickboxer in the mid ’90s.
A close friend of Prisia’s who lives in Singapore, Wee Yean Een says that Prisia is a very humble woman. “She has always been hard working. Her original training with martial artists was to become a kickboxer, but she didn’t want to lose that part of her life. She is dedicated to her goal of becoming a world champion kickboxer and she will do it one day,” says Wee Yean Een. Prisia’s modesty, sense of humor and enthusiasm are what have attracted the majority of people who have known her over the years.
The Philippines Daily Inquirer reported on Prisia Nasution’s recent move to Hollywood. She is set to star opposite Mike Tyson in the animated film of the same name, which is already underway in pre-production. Though Prisia isn’t listed as an actor yet, the role is said to be meant for an actor by the name of Mike Stonebanks. Mike Stonebanks is said to be the real life counterpart of Mike Tyson’s character from the boxing world. The two actors are said to be very good friends and grew up together in the Philippines.
Aside from her martial arts background, Prisia Nasution also has experience in performing arts in the performing arts arena in Indonesia as a kickboxer and in Japan as a Nakayama (Nakaba) girl. She has appeared in many Japanese animations and was last seen on the television series “Kamen Rider: The Last Orders”. Prisia is yet to be cast in a live action project. Both Hollywood insiders and martial artists in the Philippines are wishing for Prisia to get the break she deserves.
