In the past few years, Raven-Symon has appeared in several more feature films, most notably her animated series, Raven-Symon and the Spouses, in which she plays a divorcee. Her role in that show helped to launch her career into the Hollywood limelight, and she has since appeared in several more movies, most notably the animated comedy Crazy Stupid. In that film, she plays the role of a high-strung divorcee who returns home to her uptight, yet crazy family. It is one of the highest grossing movies of all time, earning Fox millions of dollars. It also spawned the movie sequel, Brats, and its sequel Bratsmas, which featured Brando as a character.
Recently, her role in the TV series Haven had her flying off the shelves. She plays Detective Ellen Landau, a New York City police detective who solves domestic violence cases. She ends up falling in love with another female detective, played by Jennifer Aniston, which helped make her one of the most popular women in Hollywood. It was the second television series starring Jennifer Aniston and director Mike de Leon that made Raven- SYmon a name that everyone associated with New York City, and the role paved the way for many more popular roles that she would end up playing, including an uncredited role in the remake of Tomb Raider.
