Sameera Reddy is a South Indian actress who has gained popularity in her native country of India and also in the international film industry in over twenty-five years of acting. Her first notable role was in the 1980s comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani where she played the title role alongside Aishwarya Rai. She went on to appear in a number of popular Hindi movies such as Jodha Akbar, Bhumika in Bhumika, Haldar Ki Jawani in Haldir and Priyadarshan in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Sameera Reddy has also acted in some Hollywood movies such as Mankatha, Bhumika in Mumbai, Ananya in Rajkumar Kohli, Vicky in Apne, and Kriti in Kriti.
