Feifei was born in Wuyi County, in the province of Anhui in China. She has been playing the character of Sun ever since she was young, and even gained a starring role in the movie Summer on Mulan (which became a block-buster in the USA). Sun heifer’s name originates from Sun Wu, who was her grandmother’s childhood playmate. Sun later went to study medicine at university in Taiwan, and after graduation, made a return to China to find work.

Feifei’s early life was spent in and around the city of Chongqing in northern China, as it was the centre of the Chinese economy at that time. During this period, she would also discover her passion for art, as well as foreign movies. She would also spend time studying martial arts with a local Kung Fu master and would become interested in acting as a way of earning money. This career would see Sun Feifei ends up studying in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and into the world of fashion modeling.

The name Sun Feifei means Sun Flower in Mandarin, and is likely to be derived from her childhood studies of the subject. Feifei attended the Beijing University of Foreign Studies, from February to March 1980. There, she discovered Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and became obsessed with these techniques. From this time, Feifei spent every spare moment possible studying acting and began modeling part time. After appearing in a few small shows, Feifei finally got onto the radar of the then Chinese President, thus cementing her place in the Chinese actor’s hall of fame. It was this role that kick starting Sun’s career and catapulted her to stardom.

Although no one can confirm how much Feifei actually earned from Middle School Musical, it is clear that she was extremely popular with her classmates, as well as with the Chinese Film industry, and that she probably had a net worth of at least a million dollars by the time she finished high school.
