In the late nineteen hundreds, Zhou Xuan was one of the most popular Chinese stars in Hollywood. Her breakout role was in the film Fist-cycle, in which she played Ye Ping, a beautiful and accomplished Chinese opera singer. She eventually finds herself partaking in more high profile films, like The Man With One Red Shoe, The Man With Two Red Shoes, and eventually The Silent Spy.
